Accessibility info:

• Open: daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Ticket price: 22.50 euros for adults, free for visitors up to 12 years old.

• Address: Museumplein 10, 1071DJ Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

• Entrance: the accessible entrance is located at the side of the revolving door, and is opened by the attendant staff.

• Accessibility: the exhibition floors can be reached by elevators.

• Audiotours: free audiotours in English or Dutch are available for the permanent collection and exhibitions. You can also use your phone for the tour with the museum's dedicated app.

• Lockers: the locker area is located on the first basement floor. There is an elevator to access it (see photo). Small bags (maximum A5) are allowed in the museum rooms. Larger bags, umbrellas, food and drinks are not allowed in the halls.

• Sensory openings: the museum organizes evenings for visitors who want to visit the halls with as little sensory stimulation as possible. In 2024 the dates are September 5 and December 13. You can find more information on this page.
  

• Guide dog: welcome.

• Toilets: accessible toilets with grab bars accessible to visitors with wheelchairs, found on several floors.

• Companion: can enter free of charge.

• Parking: for museum visitors there is a parking lot reserved for travelers with disabilities. It is located at Paulus Potterstraat 13. In the Q-Park garage under Museumplein there are two parking spaces for people with physical disabilities.

• Deaf and hard of hearing visitors: the museum has created Dutch sign language videos for the permanent collection. In addition, on several occasions a year, guided tours are organized in Dutch sign language, led by a guide who is himself deaf.

• Visitors with dementia: the museum in cooperation with the Onvergetelijkmuseum organization organizes guided tours for visitors with dementia and their families.

• Café: accessible on the ground floor.

• Pictogram map: at the information desk they have a map with pictograms related to visiting the museum.
