1 - GVB reis app
GVB Holding operates local public transport in the municipality of Amsterdam (buses, trams, metro and ferries). Its application allows you to plan trips, buy tickets and even check your balance if you have a card associated with it. You can buy tickets for 1 hour, 24 hours, 48 hours etc. and activate them in the app. In the news section you can also see the service outages in real time. Among the options you can select "Accessible Trip" which will only present you with accessible vehicles and stops.

2 - NS
The official application of the Dutch railway system. With NS you can plan your train journey in real time. In the planning, you can choose the filter "Show only accessible trips". It is also possible to see if the train is chosen is expected with many or few passengers. Through the app you can also see the services available at the chosen train station (for example: bicycle rental, car rental, bicycle parking, GWT Travelex, Assistance Service, Waiting room, shops open).

9292 is one of the quintessential apps for traveling in the Netherlands.It is the travel planner for bus, tram, subway, train and ferry. Here you will find all the up-to-date information on Dutch transport, in real time. In the extra options it is also possible to make an accessible schedule showing which stops are accessible.

5 - wheelmap.org
Wheelmap.org offers a worldwide online map to find accessible locations for wheelchair users. The system is valid also for Amsterdam and is based on user reports and evaluations. In the search it is possible to filter accessible and non accessible places, partially accessible places and completely accessible places even with toilets. Points of interest are marked (e.g. restaurants, cinemas, museums, banks, government offices, bus stations).

WheelMate uses an interactive map that, thanks to the GPS system, shows you the accessible parking spaces and public toilets in Amsterdam closest to you, in real time. The app is updated by the users themselves who personally verify the accuracy of the information.

I never leave the house without first checking this application! Living in the Netherlands I learned how fickle weather is. Buienradar allows you to predict weather conditions with an accuracy of 2/3 hours. A valid alternative to this application is Buienalarm. Don't get caught unprepared!

Ongehinderd is a useful application to find accessible places, restaurants, attractions, hotels and much more. It is very useful and helps travelers not to be unprepared. Unfortunately at the moment only the website is available and it is offered only in Dutch. By accessing their website it is possible to use the automatic translator.
