An elegant and important museum in the heart of Amsterdam is the Groote Museum in Amsterdam. Opened in May this year, it is housed in an elegant Artis Zoo building. Its collection is interesting for its display of the relationships between humans, plants, animals, and microbes. A unique experience that allows us to reflect on our world and look at it from a new perspective. Interestingly, each wing represents a different part of the human body. Each step through the different galleries is another step in the journey of artistic evolution and knowledge of the human-nature relationship.

• Address: Artisplein Plantage Kerklaan 41,1018 CZ Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

• Parking: there are 5 parking spaces in the Artis parking lot for travelers with disabilities. Two additional spaces are provided on the street.

• Opening hours: daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Thursdays it remains open until 10 p.m. Hours may vary during national holidays.

• Entrance: automated doors.

• Toilets: presete a bathroom accessible to visitors with wheelchairs.

• Accessibility: much of the museum is accessible by visiting with a wheelchair.

• Elevator: there is a small elevator that takes visitors to the second floor.

• Rental: a wheelchair can be rented at the ARTIS checkout, subject to payment of a deposit of a few euros. It is not possible to reserve wheelchairs in advance.

• Guide dogs: accepted.

• Stroller: it is not possible to visit the museum rooms with a stroller. This can be left at the depot (unattended).

• Lockers: present and of different sizes.
