Ferry to Amsterdam Noord - accessibility

If you want to explore Amsterdam in all its facets, you can drop by Amsterdam Noord thanks to the ferry that carries thousands of commuters and tourists every day. The service is free to use and is a real treat when visiting the Dutch capital. Indeed, aboard the ferry you can have a panoramic view of the central section of the trains on one side and Amsterdam Noord on the other. The latter is a neighborhood that is becoming very popular in recent years and is still surrounded by greenery. There still remains a somewhat artsy atmosphere here, with trendy cafes, and modern street art. The accessibility features of this medium are highlighted in this article.

The main ferry terminal is located behind Amsterdam Central Station and crosses the waters of the IJ Canal, with lines to IJplein, Buiksloterweg, NDSM, and Ponsteiter. There are then additional connections to Distelweg, Azartplein, Zaandam, and Velsen
